And it was. I’m sure that Koh Samui is as close to heaven as I’ve ever physically been. Each day was more than wonderful. Perfect tropical weather, sunshine, sand like golden powder, and the clearest water to paddle my feet in during long morning beach walks. I watched Sophia’s joy as she splashed about in the pool, with the company of my husband and the sun on my back. I felt so grounded and so myself, while my spirit flew high into the sky. An amazing feeling, being in such a beautiful place with the people I love most on earth. It was our third visit, and certainly won’t be our last. These photos of my lovely Miss Sophia embody the feeling I know we all had.
Freedom. And happiness.
Heaven.

Pure joy!!! I love how her little bracelet goes oh so well with her cutest ever dress 🙂
You know what Mel? – wouldn’t matter if you had a disposable camera. Your talent goes beyond equipment xxx
Such a delight. These pics really capture that holiday feeling but I must say nearly all your photos have that light airy feel about them and make it seem as though you are always surrounded by sunshine even though you live in Melbourne.
Thanks Anastasia! My dear friend Jane made this dress, and I loved it as soon as I saw it. x
Jen, thank you, always! xx
Thank you Michelle, I adore the light we had for these shots, it was as close to perfect as it comes. xo
