Between Sophia and I, these are two of our favourite things (I can almost hear Julie Andrews singing). Sophia wears her ballet shoes at least once a day, and Thursday class is the highlight of her week. She’s in her element dancing around, running on her toes, pointing her feet, and practising her plié in first position, all with the biggest smile and the occasional “Mummy look at me!” And I feel like something is missing if I don’t take photos at least every other day. This morning for just a minute or two, we embraced both our loves – me with my camera and Sophia in her ballet clothes, full of happy anticipation. M x
