Welcome to Pieces of Dreaming… my first blog. Ever-inspired by beautiful photos and talented photographers, I hope this blog will inspire me to be better, work harder, and with determination and my dreams, someday become someone admired too. I hope you’ll come here and find a little piece of me in each post, as I constantly walk around taking photos in my head and as much as possible, translate these into actual images I can share. I am very new to the world of photography and take photos for the love and satisfaction of the art while taking care of my two year old daughter, Sophia (~ preventing spills, damage, tantrums, and in between, trying to laugh, play and wonder). I live in the city and as a true city girl at heart, there’s no place I’d rather be. When I’m not holding a camera I love to hold a pencil and draw – a lifelong passion.

Well done Mel. I must say that you take beautiful pictures. I especially love the title banner. You should really try and get the blog known overseas. I think people would love finding out about Melbourne through your photos and writing.
